Had a text from “Simply” last night not too many hours after the operation. He was in good spirits and said the Doctor was pleased with the way it went. Just when I was thinking how tough and what a nice bloke Chris is he then sent another text me to say he was watching the 1969 Grand Final. As nice as he is there is a definite cruel streak in his character. Not a nice memory for Souths fans.
