We have received the sad news regarding Eddie Wilson whom we visited in October. Eddie has suffered a stroke and is in Prince of Wales Hospital. A real character in his younger days Eddie and his great mate big Jack Rayner would jog around the perimeter of Centennial Park most afternoons. They would be barely out of walk but keep going for long periods chatting as they ran. With big Jack being a detective and former Souths captain and Eddie with his interests in racing, boxing and football you can bet their were many interesting stories told on those runs.
