Former Chelsea United President Ike Quinn had a visit from three Chelsea Old Mates
at the Ocean View Nursing Home at Mona Vale.

Ken Vessey, Warren Thompson and Col Downing
both as Men Of League Welfare officers and Chelsea Old Mates
were pleased to find Ike in good spirits.
Ike was a slick half back or five eighth for Chelsea United A grade in the early 1950’s
playing in a winning premiership team.
See the photo below from his Chelsea days

He served in Korea in the Australian Navy on the HMAS Tobruk and HMAS Australia. During his 13 years in the Navy he had 19 months guarding Japanese War criminals on Manus Island. A South Sydney man all his life he was of course very pleased with the Rabbitohs winning the 2014 Premiership.
Ike now well into his 80s would love to see or hear from his old Chelsea mates with his contact details below
