Hi Everyone at Chelsea Old Mates

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you one and all for the wonderful floral arrangement we received in honour of my mum Peggy Bowen at her funeral yesterday.

It shows that the blokes Scott associates with from his football days and the present day, really do care about not only the well being and feelings of the players from yesteryear, but also their family members as well.

When I was asked by people in attendance at the ceremony who were the Chelsea Old Mates I was happy and proud to say that they are a proactive and loyal organisation of old footballers, who make life that bit easier to handle for people going through the trials and tribulations of life of illness and loss of loved ones.

Once again thank you and when Scott goes to the Old Mates Days and Reunions and Men Of League Days I know apart from the grog and fun he has and the famous King Prawn Omelettes he raves about the camaraderie you blokes show to each other and newcomers in need is really to be commended.
