Five special awards plaques for extraordinary service to Chelsea were were on hand at the reunion.
Three were presented on the day to Keith Phillips, Fred Hailwood and Dick Green.
One for Bill Harkins was presented to Bill in an emotional moment by Alan Webb and Warren Thompson at his nursing home residence in Botany after the Reunion with the final plaque to be presented to Kevin Maloney when we can pin him down.
Another blast from the past happened at the Reunion with the attendance of a player from the 1956 Chelsea F Grade Grand Finalists by the name of Henry James.
Henry apparently hasn’t been sighted by his Chelsea team mates for around 50 years and found us via the In Service ad in the Telegraph.
Henry is sitting next to Terry Murray in the photos below…

Re article visit to Bill Harkins – Ken Vessey and Col Downing also visited Bill and Ken presented Bill with the plaque. Bill
was very emotional and obviously very pleased with the sentiments of Chelsea Old Mates.
A shirt and cap from Men of League was also given to Bill on the day.
