At the Sydney Metro M O L lunch at The Juniors on Friday 31st July, 2015 a Gold coin donation was run to aid the “Ivan Jones (former South Sydney Half-Back from the 1960\u2019s) family walk in The Sydney to Surf in Aid of Chris O\u2019Brien Life House \u201c<\/p>\n

As a result of those in attendance $1,133-00 was raised.<\/p>\n

This money was given to Ivan\u2019s daughter Katrina who was the organiser of the walk along with 27 family and friends.<\/p>\n

As a result they were able to raise $13,331-00 this money is going towards the \u201cArterie Program \u2013 Men\u2019s Den Program \u201c <\/p>\n

This means the Men\u2019s Den at the Chris O\u2019Brien Life House will continue to run now for the next two years and because of the wonderful support will aim to \u201cEngineer a Future without Cancer\u201d<\/p>\n

Ivan was one of the first patients to start treatment at Life House when it opened its doors in November 2013.<\/p>\n

We thank all those that participated in the walk and those that gave to this great program.<\/p>\n
