Hello Everyone

Life goes on but sadly on some days there is not much good news.

The following is an update on news received recently.

1) RON LALOR  — advice was received yesterday from Lyn Lalor ( Ron’s wife) that Ron was in the Gosford Hospital ICU , after undergoing surgery a few days ago for a bleeding Duodenal Ulcer ; the bleeding has stopped and their hope is that it does not start again ; they hope that he will be moved into a Ward soon.

Lyn will advise us when this happens ; she has been told if the Chelsea Old Mates can assist in anyway , just let us know.

When Ron is in a Ward and up for visitors , we will get up and see him.

Ron is one our real characters and we wish him a good recovery.

Warren Thompson has placed a notice on our Chelsea Old Mates Facebook page today .

2) JANETTE PARSON (nee CLEGG) – John Jeffries advised me this morning the sad news that Janette had passed away peacefully on the 31 October 2019 .

Our deepest condolences go to her husband Clyde and family and to brother George and wife Faith.

Funeral details to follow but through to be on Thursday 7 November 2019.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.
