On Thursday 22 October Alan Webb, John Peard and Warren Thompson paid a visit to Woody who has been in and out of hospital numerous times this year with respiratory problems.

Peardy soon had Woody laughing with the usual humour synonomous with the “Bomber”. An avid Souths man and proud Men of League and Chelsea Old Mates member Woody was presented with a Souths cap and M O L polo shirt.
In years gone by he was an official with the NSW Pro Running Association.
Alan rang Woody’s good mate Neville Woods and gave a progress report on the way home. Neville and Woody are regulars at Erko Bowling Club and have been great mates for many years. We will look forward to seeing them both at the next O M D at Erko on Thursday 3 Dec 2016.
