Pam was born in Mudgee NSW and as a young woman lived at St Leonards.

She met her husband Ray at Manly Surf Club at the Saturday night dance.

Pam played representative Netball and after marrying Ray moved to Redfern.

She loved watching Chelsea United especially at Redfern Oval when Ray was a classy centre for the club.

Pam enjoyed the many Chelsea turnouts with great mates and loved a beer with them.

It must have been a great joy to her when Chelsea won the A grade competition in 1958 and 1959.

Illness came early for this lovely lady and her husband was always by her side.

In more recent years Pam has been in Huntingdon Gardens nursing home in Bexley.

Ray was there every day; totally devoted to the woman he has been married to for near 63 years.

Pam passed away peacefully on the 5 May, 2020, aged 83 years.

She will be sadly missed by Ray and her loving family, sons, Brad and Glen and grandchildren Leanne, Samuel and Jacob.

A service is to be held on Monday 11 May, 2020 at 10 am.

At St Francis Xaviar Church – 4 Forest Rd Arncliffe.

With the current restrictions limiting attendance we will represent the club with a floral tribute and expressing our sympathy to the family.
